Have you ever wished you could be a kid again? The days were full of fun and you did not have to worry about bills, the economy or just everyday stress. The only stressful thing was if you could not find a certain toy or could not go out to play because of the rain. It is great being an adult. You have a wonderful family, great friends and good job. Yet, there is always that moment in the day when you wish you could forget about everything and be a kid.
How do your kids play? Do they play with traditional toys or video games? Do they enjoy going outside and playing in a park? It is good if we can expand their world of play. Don't let them just do one thing. Make it a goal to incorporate new types of play. Give them an art project or take them to the park. This is easier said than done. Parents are busy. Yet, anytime spent with your child is not wasted. They will remember the times you spent with them as daddy and mommy loves me. To a child, your time is better than any toy you could give them.
Try to spend more time with your child. If you have to, right it down in your planner. There is nothing wrong with that as long as you stop in your busy day to let your child know that you love them. Just remember, if you take time from your busy schedule to play with your child then you will get that moment when you are a child again. That is something to look forward to in this busy world adults live in.

Activities with the kids is very important, I agree. But I prefer my wisdom. I can still enjoy life, with even more intensity.True, as adults we have been through things and aquired wisdom from life experiences. A true advantage over children. However, do children need to be exposed to our stresses before they are ready. They will eventually have to grow an be faced with adult issues. What is the harm in trying to let them enjoy the life they have now? Life will always change and they will have to change too. Just don't try to make them grow up before they are ready.
